OUR SERVICES

PREVENTATIVE DENTISTRY
DENTAL HYGIENE

We promote oral health through proactive, preventive dentistry and patient education. During your comprehensive exam, we evaluate for dental conditions such as periodontitis, tooth loss, and TMJ. We’ll also teach you the best practices for good oral hygiene habits at home, so you can keep your smile for life.

DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHS

Digital x-rays are a more streamlined way of taking dental radiographs. Digital x-rays are capable of revealing hidden caries, bone erosion, and even tooth decay hiding beneath restorations. Requiring less radiation and no film to process, digital x-rays have become the standard for oral imaging.

ATHLETIC MOUTHGUARDS

A custom-fit athletic mouthguard provides superior comfort with the greatest protection. Mouth guards are designed to fit the precise dimensions of your teeth and supporting structures, allowing for normal speech patterns.

NIGHT GUARDS

A night guard is a dental appliance custom-fit to a patient’s teeth. It is important that night guards be professionally fit, rather than purchased over the counter, as this ensures maximum comfort and protection during wear. These guards are created uniquely to each patient to prevent discomfort, slippage or inadequate protection.

DENTAL SEALANTS

Dental sealants are clear coatings applied to the surfaces of a child’s molars to prevent the development of tooth decay. They work by preventing food and plaque from resting in the grooves and crevices of molars – an area especially susceptible to cavities.

RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
METAL FREE FILLINGS

Metal-free fillings provide a natural appearance and add strength and durability to the tooth in a conservative way. They are esthetic and bond better to the tooth structure, making them an ideal restoration option. These fillings are composed of a composite resin material that can be color-matched to blend naturally with the rest of your smile

CROWNS AND BRIDGES

We promote oral health through proactive, preventive dentistry and patient education. During your comprehensive exam, we evaluate for dental conditions such as periodontitis, tooth loss, and TMJ. We’ll also teach you the best practices for good oral hygiene habits at home, so you can keep your smile for life.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

Dental implants are a permanent solution for tooth replacement that restore strength, function, and beauty — all in one! The process starts by placing a small titanium anchor directly into the space left by the missing tooth. Once the healing process is finished, Dr. Berg will crown your new abutment with a natural looking crown.

TMJ TREATMENT

TMJ disorders are typically the result of malocclusion, also known as a misaligned bite, leading to various symptoms (constant migraines). In certain cases, a non-invasive occlusal splint will relieve your TMJ symptoms, decreasing your pain. However, if your symptoms persist, other dental options are available.

INLAYS AND OVERLAYS

Inlays and onlays restore a decayed or broken tooth. Conserving tooth structure while strengthening and protecting the health of a tooth is achieved with an inlay or onlay. This dental solution restores natural beauty and maintains function.

EXTRACTIONS

Tooth extractions are routine dental procedures used to remove decayed, damaged or otherwise problematic teeth. Dentists usually make every effort to preserve natural teeth, although sometimes an extraction is necessary. Depending on which teeth are removed, they may be replaced with a dental implant or another oral prosthetic.

ROOT CANALS

A root canal may be required to save a tooth when a cavity has grown too large and the nerve is involved. By the time the nerve is impacted, the only options are to perform a root canal or remove the tooth. Done in a single visit, the doctor gets the area comfortable and removes the infected nerve. The roots are still in place, but the nerve is removed from the tooth and a filling material is used to seal the roots.

DENTURES

Dentures are natural-looking replacement teeth that are removable. There are two types of dentures: full and partial. Full dentures are given to patients when all of the natural teeth have been removed. Partial dentures are attached to a metal frame that is connected to your natural teeth and are used to fill in where permanent teeth have been removed.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY
PORCELAIN VENEERS

A porcelain veneer is a thin shell designed of porcelain that covers flaws of the teeth. Veneers have the ability to revitalize and transform virtually any tooth or smile. Dr. Berg uses porcelain veneers to improve chips or cracks, gaps, crooked teeth, discoloration, or tooth shape.

TEETH WHITENING

Teeth whitening procedures are used to brighten the appearance of a patient’s smile – sometimes by as many as 5 to 10 shades in a single session. Professional teeth whitening services can be performed in an office setting or prescribed for take-home use by a patient. Professional whitening uses stronger whitening agents that deliver faster and more effective results,  compared to over-the-counter solutions.

INVISALIGN

Invisalign® is a great option for discreetly and effectively straightening teeth. Invisalign gently straightens teeth using a series of clear trays, which are customized to precisely fit the contours of your teeth. The trays fit comfortably, and their transparency makes them virtually unnoticeable by others. Invisalign® aligners can be conveniently removed for activities such as eating, drinking, and caring for oral hygiene.
